It was such a pleasure to read a story without any offensive language in it. The humor was subtle in a lot of incidences, and I found myself laughing out loud. I feel the story is more geared to young adults and a teen audience, but I am young at heart, and I enjoyed the story immensely. The fact that I am from this area and actually am acquainted with the author, naturally piqued my interest, but I was captivated by the storyline within the first few pages. Great easy read!!
Entertaining A lot of action packed into a short story. A JOY to read. Looking for the next book.
I enjoyed it. Being from northwest PA, I recognized a lot of the places in the book. That was neat!
Good book. I enjoyed it - and I seldom read fiction.
I loved Volume 1 and had to read Volume 2!!! It's positive, hopeful, encouraging and a very easy read. I've never read a book in one day. This one, I did. Could not put it down. Very excited to soon read Volumes 3 and 4. If you have a hopeful spirit - if you believe in changing lives - if you hope for more, this is a great series of inspiration. Having spent much time in the region he describes just adds to the enjoyment and will likely prompt readers to want of visit this "wilderness" of Pennsylvania. He captures the spirit of the region and its people. Thank you Michael!
